The Radiolight DIR is a high performance wireless stereo headset like no other!
What will the Radiolight DIR Headset System do for me?
The Radiolight DIR Headset System is used to help you listen more clearly to your TV, radio etc. without any trailing leads across the floor. It allows you to enjoy your TV etc at your own volume without disturbing others. It is particularly useful if you tend to move around whilst listening to the television or radio as the signal is not interrupted by walls etc.
How does the Radiolight DIR Headset System work?
The Radiolight Headset Listener consists of two parts, a mains powered transmitter and a receiver powered by a rechargeable battery. The transmitter picks up the sound from your TV and sends it via invisible radio waves to the headset receiver. The Radiolight Listener has a range of 80 metres.
More about the Radiolight DIR Headset System
The fitted ear-pieces in the DIR version are made from soft silicone material and fit the shape of the ear They also are positioned so they point directly into the ear, making them more comfortable to wear for prolonged periods. The manufacturer's have also included a 'swing' function on the ear buds, allowing the stereo to move freely, putting less strain on the ears.
The RadioLight DIR has an automatic 'click' on/off function. As the 'arms' of the headset are gently clicked outward to allow you to put the RadioLight stereo headset on, the power is activated. Again, as the arms are moved outwards to allow you to remove the headset, the power is 'clicked' off again, avoiding wasted battery charge.
A fully charged battery will last up to 3 hours and has a recharge time of 16 hours. Up to three batteries may be charged at a time, one in the receiver when it rests in the cradle and two in the base unit
